Sloth

Speaker: Jordan Gowing Series: Seven Deadly Sins

What is the sin of sloth? How can we rid our lives of it? Join us this Sunday at CrossWinds Church in Spencer as we consider what the Bible has to say about this "deadly sin."

  3. Read Romans 8:13b and consider this quote from John Owen: “The vigour and power and comfort of our spiritual life depends on the mortification of the deeds of the flesh.” What does Owen mean? What is the connection between putting sin to death and a flourishing faith?
