1. This Sunday we heard about an upcoming mission trip to Florida. Have you ever been on a short-term mission trip? What did you do? Share a bit of your experience.
2. What is one takeaway you have from this passage? What is a question you still have after studying this passage?
3. Read Mark 14:1–2. Why is it important to read this passage about the woman in the context of these two verses?
4. Read Mark 14:3. Discuss the significance of the woman’s gift. What does that say about how the woman viewed Jesus?
5. Read Mark 14:4–5. In contrast to #4, what does the response of the disciples say about how they viewed Jesus?
6. What is the danger of “moderation”? What are some ways that we can settle for a moderate faith?
7. Read Mark 14:6–9; 12:41–44. What are the similarities between these two women? How do these similarities show us the appropriate heart, no matter our financial means?
8. This Time Tomorrow: How does this passage transform your thoughts, actions, or interactions at “this time tomorrow”?
