- Read 2 Thessalonians 2:13–14. In these verses, Paul lists three reasons we don’t need to lose heart in suffering. What are they? Which is most encouraging to you?
- Read Romans 5:10. Every time the Bible speaks of God “choosing” people for salvation, it is intended to give his people comfort. How does Romans 5:10 help us understand how this is a comforting truth?
- In our sermon, Pastor Jordan said, “We need not lose heart, because God is utterly and fully committed to keep you to the end, no matter what you may face.” How does this encourage you when you are in hardship?
- Read Jeremiah 31:31–36. What does God point to as evidence of his unending love for his people? How might this encourage you today when you are tempted to doubt his love or presence?
