Heather joined the CrossWinds staff in February of 2019 at the Spencer campus as the Administrative Assistant.
With a passion to help others, Heather is involved in the day-to-day administrative work as well as the First Impressions Team and many other ministries at CrossWinds. You will generally find her busy helping where needed on a Wednesday night with the student ministry or on Sunday mornings in various roles. Heather didn't grow up in the church, but came to know Jesus through going to church with her in-laws, and the importance of Jesus in their lives. That helped her to learn about Jesus and what He did for her.
Heather is married to Todd De Jong. They live in Ruthven on the lake and have three sons. When Heather is not busy doing her administrative duties at the church, you can find her out fishing, spending time out on the lake, helping serve others with natural wellness options, or spending time with her family.
