  1. Has anyone ever made you aware of some blindspots in your own faith? What were they?
  2. What is one highlight from the sermon and one question that you had after hearing the sermon?
  3. Read Jude 14–15. Jude quotes from a book called 1 Enoch. Should we consider it authoritative Scripture? Why or or why not?
  4. Read Isaiah 13:6; Jeremiah 46:10; Ezekiel 30:3; Joel 1:15; Amos 5:18. How does the Bible describe the “day of the LORD” (the day of judgment at his return)? Is this different than what you normally think of when you think of his return?
  5. Read Jude 15. Here Jude focuses on two areas that will be brought to account in judgment. What are they? Why do you think Jude mentions these two?
  6. Read Jude 16. Jude lists five “respectable sins” of the false teachers. What are some other “respectable sins” that we tolerate among Christians today?
  7. Read Numbers 14:27–29. What is a grumbling spirit? Why is it dangerous? Do you struggle with grumbling and complaining?
  8. Read Psalm 73:2–13. What is a “fault-finding disposition”? What are some ways that you see this in your own heart?
  9. What are some of the dangers of following your “sinful desires”? 
  10. Read Psalm 8:4. What are some ways the gospel confronts our temptations to boast?
  11. Read James 2:1–5. What are the dangers of favoritism in the church? Do you struggle with favoritism?
  12. This Time Tomorrow: How does this passage transform your thoughts, actions, or interactions at this time tomorrow?
